Hey There Prezzybox Army!

Well, the acolades keep on coming. The good ASTRA (American Speciality Toy Retailing Association) folks across the pond have recognised our very own Bananagrams as the best Toy 2009 for 8+ year game-play!

Bananagrams is a great game and the rules are pretty straight forward. Depending on how many players you have, put all the tiles face down and take a certain number of letter for yourself from the bunch. One player shouts ‘Split’ and everyone turns their tiles over. Then its up to you to try and connect all your letter into intersecting words. You can re-arrange them as many times as you like until you have used all your tiles. Then you shout ‘Peel’. This means all players have to take one more tile from the centre bunch.  This continues until all the tiles are gone. The player to connect the last tile is the winner.  If you are the lucky one you shout ‘Bananas’ and the game is over… But be careful, a single spelling mistake will make you a ‘Rotten Banana!’

So get your hands on the ASTRA Best Toy for 8+ years Gameplay now. Bananagrams is available from Prezzybox for just £14.95

Hello There!

There’s a whole load of new products that are causing quite a buzz at Prezzybox this week. But the people at the ‘Box are definately puzzling over this new arrival; the Wiki M-Cube.

Comprising of 216 individual tiny balls of rare earth magnets, this fun, addictive and creative puzzle will give you hours of enjoyment.

There are so many different things you can do with the Wiki M-Cube from arranging the balls into the cube you see above (it’s a lot harder than it looks) to creating your own magnetic (and very funky) jewellery!

The rare-earth magnets used in the Wiki M-Cube are extremely powerful Neodymium magnets with a durable Nickel plated surface. These magnets are more powerful than your average fridge magnets and its the power in the magnets that make this a truly terrific executive toy. You can create all sorts of shapes and sculptures with the Wiki M-Cube and it actually helps build up the creative section of your brain!

Check out the video below to see what the Wiki M-Cube can do.

Tengu

Days of working on your lonesome at your computer desk are a thing of the past as we introduce the simply splendid Tengu.

Tengu – named after a  character from Japanese folklore that plays tricks on people and generally gets up to mischief – is a USB-powered character that lights up and lip-syncs to music, or your voice, or whatever noise happens to be around at the time. Tengu has different facial expressions that you can match to different music and when there’s no sound at all he’ll simply fall asleep.

Till next time. Bee good and Bee Happy.
