Eco Button

Posted by Brian on 14 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Uncategorized

Prezzybox like saving the world, just take a look at the bins full of plastic, paper, etc in the kitchen! Now they’ve given you the opportunity to save the world, and a little bit of cash (which is very important these days) with the Eco Button!

This little gadget fits nicely into your computer’s USB slot and once it’s downloaded its software it’s all ready to go. When you need to leave your desk, no matter how long for, just tap the glowing green globe and your computer will shut down into a super eco-friendly hibernation mode. This is no normal hibernation mode, the Eco Button makes your monitor and hard drives run on a measley 1.8 watts, much less than your usual hibernation mode. Once you’ve woken up the computer, it will tell you how much CO2 and cash you’ve saved!

Definately an easy way of saving the world, and it doesn’t involve squeezing into some colourful spandex and a cape!

A Whole Galaxy In Your Room!

Posted by Brian on 14 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Uncategorized

Now, when this one came into Prezzybox HQ, the staff knew instantly what it was. It’s a projector, big whoop! But, as the Prezzybox people know very well, you should never make a judgement until you’ve seen it in action. Presenting the Laser Cosmos Projector!

When you turn on this projector and close the door, the darkness is pierced by millions of green stars. The stars are made using green lasers, which our boffins tell me are the most powerful lasers in existence! Turning the dial at the back of the star makes a hazy blue nebla appear and float before your eyes. After a short warming-up period, the stars begin to move very slowly across your ceiling. the different sized dots really do provide a 3D perspective and make you feel like you’re floating amongst the galaxies and stars in space.

Sorry to go all gushy on you with this one, but it really does have to be seen to be believed!

You can get your mitts on your own Laser Cosmos Projector from Prezzybox for £99.00

Art Crazy

Posted by Brian on 03 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Uncategorized

Prezzybox loves creativity. It’s obvious when you look at the brand new selection of artistic products they’ve got.

Introducing the new arty kits available at Prezzybox. The Hypotrochoid Set, Fingerpainting Set and 3D Drawing Kit.

I know, I was wondering what a Hypotrochoid was too. Basically, remember one of those wonderful childhood drawing toys, the one where a pen placed in a hole in a plastic cog-like wheel would make some wonderful geometric pictures when turned in a circle? well it’s that. You can never get too old to marvel at those pretty shapes, and now an entire new generation can enjoy it too.

The Fingerpainting Art Set is pretty self explanitory, but that doesn’t make it any less fun! it includes non-toxic finger inks, coloured pencils and rupper stamps for creating faces on your artwork.

The 3D Drawing set uses 2 pencils held together in what looks like a kind of compass. When a picture is drawn using these 2 colours and you don the trendy retro glasses, the image literally jumps off the page, Brilliant!

You can get your own from Prezzybox for under a tenner! Prices are £4.95-£9.95

Elmo Live!

Posted by Brian on 01 Oct 2008 | Tagged as: Uncategorized

Being a gift, gadget and toy retailer, the Prezzybox folk see an awful lot of toys on a daily basis. But it isn’t that often that a toy leaps out from the crowd, literally.

Elmo Live! is brand new at Prezzybox and causing quite a stir. For those who don’t recognise Elmo, he’s a 3 1/2 year old red monster from Sesame Street. Recently, he has starred in 2 films and his own TV show as well as being the only muppet ever to testify in front of US Congress, Bet you didn’t know that!

Anyway, Elmo’s characteristic mannerisms, arm waving, dancing, tilting his head back when he speaks etc, are all smoothly and accurately mimicked in Elmo Live!

Prezzybox love this toy and can see it’s going to be a bit Christmas hit! Get yours before the stocks run out! £59.95 from Prezzybox is all it will cost to get your very own Elmo to delight kids for hours.
